GLSEN'S Web Site Terms of Service

By registering with www.studentorganizing.org (hereby referred to as GLSEN) you (hereby referred to as USER) agree to the following terms of service. Any infraction with these terms of service may result in termination of user's registration and/or any other actions allowed under law.

> GLSEN agrees to keep all user personal information private, to the best of their ability, except for with GLSEN staff and students of GLSEN's Jump-Start National Student Leadership Team, for which limited information is shared for the sole purpose of providing support and helping to network students in local areas.

> GLSEN agrees to not share, trade or sell student contact information to any non-GLSEN individual, group or organization--Though GLSEN may share limited information with GLSEN local Chapters and other students for support and networking, but only when User has agreed to have such information shared by choosing "Yes" to be listed in the Individual Directory.

> User agrees they are registering with www.studentorganizing.org because they believe and support the mission and ideals of GLSEN.

> User agrees to in no way, electronically or otherwise, steal, share, copy, display or in any other way whatsoever disseminate information provided through any other medium, online or offline, without the express written permission from GLSEN's Communications Department.

> User agrees to in no way, shape or form, harass or discriminate other users.

> User agrees to only provide information for which they are personally involved in said school, event or student club and that all information, to the best of user's knowledge, is completely accurate and truthful.

> User agrees to in no way misuse their registration, database or website interface by any means, including, but not limited to hacking, discretion or lying.

> User agrees that the signing-up of events and student clubs does not necessarily represent support, participation or recognition of said school for which User, events and student clubs may be associated. School names are used solely for the purpose of anonymously identifying from where students, clubs and events may be registered.

> User agrees to hereby waive GLSEN of all responsibility and liability for the accuracy, confidentiality, or protection of registration information, including, but not limited to, that of individuals, events and/or student clubs.

Any use of the User's registration with www.studentorganizing.org in a manner contrary to the spirit and goals of GLSEN or any unauthorized modification or publication of the information provided online represents a breach of this agreement. GLSEN and Day of Silence logos and images may not be altered without permission from GLSEN.
